June 9, 2026 LookBermuda

“Caduceus” the recently named CahowCam2 chick is preparing to fledge having exited its underground burrow to exercise its wings and imprint on its surroundings for the first time on the night of June 8th.

Watch the LiveStreams below, the first showing the inside of its Nonsuch Island burrow and the second the live view from above-ground in Colony A which J-P and Jeremy will remote control as it explores, exercices, and within the next few nights, finally launh out to sea, where it will spend the next 3 to 5 years without touching land, and then if all goes well return to Nonsuch.

Return to this page after dark over the next few nights to witness one of the rarest seabirds in the World fledge out to sea.
