Young Artists Invited to Celebrate Bermuda’s Ocean

As part of World Ocean Week 2026, the OurOcean Art Competition iinvited young artists across Bermuda to share their creativity.

The competition was open to two age categories (ages 6–10 and 11–18) and encouraged students to explore this year’s theme, “Celebrating Our Ocean,” through original artwork inspired by Bermuda’s marine environment, wildlife, and the ocean’s role in our lives.

Entries were submitted in a variety of media, including drawing, painting, photography, digital art, mixed media, and sculpture. All submissions were entered digitally, with selected finalists featured in a public exhibition at Brew in downtown Hamilton.

Prizes included a scholarship to Waterstart’s SEA Camp, a bursary for Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation, and a GoPro 13 camera.

The submission deadline was Friday, June 12, 2026.
